Valor Combat Village Campout

We plan to break bread around a fire, listen to some Marines and Border Patrol agents share with us, and engage in some paintball/air soft/capture the flag!

5 W’s and gear list are below. Pass this on to any friends/contacts you think may be interested. If you have questions, please let me know.

Who: Valor (Young men ages 10-22, their fathers, and service members).

What: Campout, land navigation, logistics resupply, paintball/airsoft/capture the flag.

When: 1600, 26 Dec to 0900, 28 Dec 2025. Meet at 1600 to convoy, on 26 Dec south of I-8 exit 42 at the gas station parking lot. If you want to convoy from the Foothills, meet at the Foothills Library at 1520. If you decide to join us on Saturday, we plan to eat breakfast at 0700 and kick off the first event at 0800.

Gear List:

At least 1 gallon of water per person

Food for dinner on Friday and breakfast Sunday will be provided. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided for 'Saturday. Bring any snacks you want outside these meals

Sleeping bag (it will be cool... 40 degrees or so) / (no tent required, will sleep in conex boxes)

Rugged outer wear (full body coverage including hat and gloves)

1 sweatshirt / 1 pair of long pants

Sun-block / hat

Flashlight

All purpose paper (TP)

Entrenching tool

Personal Airsoft or paintball gear you own and as many rounds as you want to shoot.
